Vacation - Day 2

Thursday started out slow just because we needed a rest from the day before! We drove out to Ventura Harbor and found some really nice little shops and restaurants. It was perfect - no crowds, nice weather. I could totally buy a sail boat and float around there until I'm 80... Anyway, like a good little Greek girl, I found a Greek cafe right on the water. The food was great and as always - we ate too much.

After lunch we strolled down the walk and let E play in the little park. Then we headed across the street to the beach! We had fun playing in the sand and getting out tootsies wet. E had a great time exporing and going around picking up sticks and rocks and shells - he loved it. And he loves watching the waves crash come up to our feet! We headed back to the hotel and took a dip in the pool to get all the sand off of us. E wore himself out with all the playing in the sand and splashing in the pool and took a great nap while Daddy went to watch some more football!:)
