Play Ball

Today we got to visit with Big Yia Yia! E was happy to see her and she was SO happy to see him. She had to stay a few nights in the hospital because she fell but all is fine. They're just running tests to be sure. So we went by the hospital with my Dad for a visit. E played and snuggled with her - he was such a sweetheart.

Then we headed back to the hotel to hang out for a while and went out for dinner and to a baseball game! We met Yia Yia and Big Yia Yia there. It was a GORGEOUS night - nice and breezy and not hot. (I heard it was a billion degrees and HUMID at home - YUCK!) E had fun at the game - we rode the carousel, played on the playground and even got to see some fireworks! He was ok at first but then when the big ones started he got a little scared. I think it was because we were so close and they came RIGHT over top of us so it almost looked like they were going to fall on us. lol We decided to sneak out early since they started to scare him but he liked watching from the car as we were leaving. "BOOM!" :)




Back at the hotel it was bath time and bed time! Poor little E hasn't been getting his naps so he is sleeping like a brick at night and VERY late in the mornings. I had to go in at 11 and wake him up this morning! Between no naps and the time change, he is getting his 14 hours in all at once. lol It's working out fine for vacation I guess - gives us more time to be out and about during the day. :)
