New Stuff

Just in the last few days the little man is doing all sorts of new things! I don't know if they're necessarily things that he just learned but they're things that he's just now letting us know that he knows. lol

• Counting - the other day we were doing something and one of us said "One" and E finished by going all the way to five! I think he's known this for a while but is just now mustering up the nerve to let us know. Either way we were so impressed and proud!

• Colors - tonight I asked him to get me the green car and he got the green car! I did it a few more times with red and blue and he got it right! Yay!

He is talking a lot now and will at least try to repeat anything we ask him to. Of course being the comedian he is he will also say the opposite of what we ask him to say on purpose and then give us an evil little smirk like, "Haaaa haaaaaa!" For example - we will ask him something like, "What sound does a dog make?" (Which of course he knows) and he will give us this little sneaky grin and go "Meeeeooooow!" :p Little stinker!

He also likes to say "bye" to everyone. It makes for a nice transition when going to take a nap, go to bed or when we have to go eat or something - we say "bye" to everyone and everything. So funny! "Bye Momma" "Bye Daddy" "Bye Dean" "Bye trains" "Bye trucks" "Bye cars" :)
