We're Falling Apart

Well, I'm not falling apart yet but the week isn't over! :p Poor B was in and out of the ER this week with horrible pain in his stomach. They found out he had a kidney stone and after the second visit to the ER, they decided on surgery to remove it. I wasn't thrilled (see: a nervous wreck!) about him having to be put under for it but obviously we had no choice. They did it yesterday and he was able to come home with us afterward so that was good. He is hopped up on his pain pills and taking it easy. He has a follow up appointment next week. He's still really sore but so far so good. E was a trooper at the hospital. I brought him a bag of toys and he went from room to room with us. He had fun working the waiting room and entertaining everyone there. :p

Then to add to our drama, this morning E woke up limping and favoring his right leg!!! It's toxic synovitis again - like he had a few months back and it will go away on it's own. (It's an inflammation of the hip joint.) But in the meantime it could last for a day or for... longer! They said if it gets worse or if it's not better by Monday, we will go to a specialist. Although I'm not sure what the point of waiting is. He seemed a little better after his nap but he is still really favoring it and hobbling around, barely putting any weight on it. This morning it was so bad that he had to crawl around. :(

So that's how our exciting week has been. We're staying home this weekend and hopefully my boys can start feeling better... and Momma can get some rest! lol
