Orlando: Day 100 ... I mean 1

So we arrived safely and had as uneventful of a trip as we know how. You see, whenever we travel, something ALWAYS happens. There is always some kind of drama! Gone are the days that we skip out of Orlando International Airport in our flip flops and sun dresses (just me not B) with our one light bag containing one other sun dress because "Who cares! We're on vacation! We don't need anything!" No, no, now we have to lug suitcases and a stroller and laptop bags and car seat and walk for days to get to our rental car... correction... to get to our clown car where we cram ourselves and our bags and our child in and THEN we skip off in our sun dresses towards the beach! :p

Ok so it wasn't that bad at all. E was a really good boy and enjoyed the plane ride - had all the right snacks and lollipops and everything. The only problem was that he wanted to go back to the "brown hotel" and swim - Great Wolf Lodge! lol We had to explain that this was a new hotel and a way cooler! Yea! lol So when we got here and forgot that this was Florida and all the pools are outside... DOH! It was an overcast cooler day - not cold but still - if you're in the pool - COLD! Well he didn't forget about the pool and it was even worse when we went down for dinner and he saw some other crazy people out at the pool. Agh! So Daddy had the wonderful idea that while he ran to the store to get some necessities, E and I could swim for 10-15 minutes - yea! :p So I can't blame the boy, he comes by it naturally. I was the crazy kid in the pool with blue lips who never wanted to get out. We spent about two seconds in the big pool before I convinced him to go to the hot tub and sit on the step with me. He was totally happy sitting and splashing and jumping in with another little kid who was there too.

After a while we convinced him to come up so we could take a shower - that meant more splashing! Woooo! :) And since it wasn't our house - lots and lots of splashing and a very long warm shower.

Now he is sleeping on the pull out couch like a big boy and we're crossing our fingers that all goes well because if we have to put the poor boy in a pack n play anymore I think we'll have to cut holes for his legs to come out the side. :p

Tomorrow - West Palm Beach!
